Who are Matronae?
Matronae are Gaulish mother-goddesses often represented in groups of three, holding baskets filled with produce or bread. Celebrating these divine women is central to Belgae culture – the Gauls of northern Europe the modern country is named after – on our Tripel label seemed like an obvious Giant Jones move since the style is often associated with Catholic monks. If centering something primordially femme is subversive, we are here for it and everyone who vibes with it.
