Fish Fry-Day Pop-Up

Laila from “Layla’s” & Christine from “Slide” will be here frying up some tasty fish dinners. You can pre-order or when you come in.

Grab some Giant Jones bottles to take home if you take your fish to-go OR eat here along side a tasty beer!

Choose from Fried Catfish with remoulade OR Friday Walleye with yogurt sauce; each comes with baby potatoes & coleslaw!

This will be every Friday during Lent.

Madison Makers Winter Market & Pub Crawl

Shop over 80 makers with a drink in hand, while exploring some of Madison’s local breweries, distilleries and bars! 

This is an ALL AGES, family friendly event.

This event is free and no tickets are needed to come and enjoy the fun! You only pay for the items you want to buy from vendors, and the drinks or food you want to consume.

A Deliciouser pop-up event in collaboration with Giant Jones Brewing 

Please join The Deliciouser and Giant Jones Brewing with our Wings and Things pop-up. Order from The Deliciouser, they’ll bring your food to you here at Giant Jones where you can dine & enjoy some beer!

  • Chicken Wings (6) with Dipping Sauce

    • Zócalo, chili lime seasoning, with pickled jalapeño ranch

    • Vadouvan Butter, French inspired Indian curry seasoning with a radish raita sauce

Giant Jones Pop-Up at Awildan

Awildan Distilling will release our first aged spirit– a barreled version of their Genever. The release event is scheduled for April 22nd, 2023 and will also feature a Canadian-Style Spruce beer brewed in collaboration with us here at Giant Jones!
Our Giant Jones Pop-up will be at Awildan from 12pm-4pm. There will be music by folk musician Andreas TransØ (4pm-6pm), and food from Melted Craft Grilled Cheese food truck.

What is a barreled Genever you ask? We put our Genever in an ex-bourbon cask for over 10 months. The result is a truly unique spirit where the single malt whiskey base spirit shines through, with additional sweetness from the white oak barrel. Juniper, floral notes, and orange citrus sit atop, lending complexity that continues long into the finish. Needless to say, this spirit pushes the boundaries of what a botanical spirit and whiskey hybrid can be.
If you’ve stopped by the distillery, you may have heard me mention single malt whiskey a few times. My first serious exploration of the world of distilled spirits centered on Scottish single malt whisky, and my passion for it prompted my pursuit of opening my own distillery. One of the hardest parts about opening a distillery focused on whiskey production is waiting for the whiskey to mature. At Awildan, it’s 3-5 years minimum depending on the cooperage. With releases like this Barreled Genever, and the Progress Report whiskey being released in November 2023, I’m excited to give people a preview of what Awildan Distilling is all about.
