DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday\, November 11th from 4-9 p.m. to taste beers made with Wisconsin-grown winter barley! \nThe barley was malted in Janesville by Meristem Malt\, then turned into different “Festbier” style beers by four different breweries: Giant Jones/Sunshine Brewing\, Herbiery\, and Sway\, in Wisconsin\, as well as Schram Brewery in Minnesota. \nDuring the evening you’ll have the opportunity to purchase tasters and provide feedback on the barley and malt flavors. \nAt 8:15 we’ll have a brief panel discussion with the researchers and brewers discussing the importance of this work and the challenges and opportunities. \nYou’ll also be able to enjoy our regular Wednesday pizza night with Origin Breads! We recommend pre-ordering your pizzas!
